Panchgani Waste Collection Monitoring
Monitoring waste collection in Panchgani to improve efficiency, segregation, and cleanliness.
This project aims to digitally monitor and record daily waste collection activities across all areas of Panchgani. Using the Epicollect5 platform, field teams will capture GPS locations, photos, and key details about waste collection points, type and quantity of waste, segregation status, vehicle or staff involved, and any operational issues observed.
The collected data will help track route efficiency, identify irregularities, ensure timely waste collection, and promote segregation at source. It will also provide transparency, improve municipal service accountability, and support informed decision-making for better waste management practices.
Ultimately, this initiative will contribute to creating a cleaner, more sustainable Panchgani while involving all stakeholders—municipality, staff, and citizens—in the process.
