One of the projects in the Sciurid Lab at IISER Tirupati (www.glidingsquirrels.in) is the documentation of squirrel calls, and from preliminary work, we have noted that squirrels vary in calls around the country. We are planning to put together a dataset and subsequently, a paper, that characterizes squirrels calls. You can help and be part of the work by sending us calls of squirrels around you, recorded on your mobile phones!
