You are invited to participate in a research study being conducted by the Department of Community Health Sciences, Aga Khan University (AKU). This study is being led by Dr. Ramsha Tahir, MSc Epidemiology and Biostatistics student, under the supervision of Dr. Jai Das, with support from committee members Sir Iqbal Azam, Dr. Shiyam Sunder, and Dr. Nadeem Zuberi.
The purpose of this study is to understand how physical working conditions during pregnancy, such as physical strain, long hours, stress, or job type, may be linked to low birth weight in newborns. The findings may help in developing better workplace policies and maternal health guidelines.
