Please contribute to the ongoing advancement of this species current distribution by recording your sightings. Favolaschia sp., originally found in Madagascar, also known as the orange pore fungus, due to the underside of the fungi's likeness to a ping pong bat. The species is found growing on dead wood, it is brightly coloured yellow to orange, with distinctive open pores on the underside of the fungi. Uploading a photo enables a basic species verification to ensure a robust dataset.
