Channel Islands Favolaschia sp

Favolaschia sp., originally found in Madagascar, also known as the orange pore fungus, due to the underside of the fungi's likeness to a ping pong bat. The species is found growing on dead wood, it is brightly coloured yellow to orange, with distinctive open pores on the underside of the fungi.
