Divisional Forest Office, Sarpang is mandated to carry out household socio-economic survey under the project funded by Bhutan For Life (BFL). The survey is mainly to gather demographic information on population living in and around the biological corridor 3 (BC-3), to assess socio-economic condition of the communities, to assess human-wildlife conflict status, to assess the resource use trends/understand the dependency of the local communities on the resources of the BC, to assess threats to the BC-3 and to understand the perception of the residents on the BC-3 and its conservation.
