Beaches of Southwest Florida

These observations were made on the coastal areas of Southwest Florida. They are done as a pilot project to study the surface soil, geology, biology, ecology and associated environment in a post Ian hurricane period. Some of the beaches have been remediated, Some are untouched. The observations are gross and microscopic and include the sand and related mineral and biologic elements such as mollusks and birds in the proximal environment.
