Bats of Arrifana

Bats are small, flying mammals of high conservation priority due to numbers of many species declining over the last few decades. Arrifana is home to a diversity of bat species and supports a large colony of the Lesser Horseshoe bat. We aim to identify where the bats of Arrifana are feeding and roosting to ensure that their habitat is well connected and protected.
