Bartonsham dipwells 2025

Bartonsham Meadows is currently undergoing restoration to return it to being a species-rich, floodplain meadow that will provide a home to a range of iconic wildlife. To inform management decisions about which plant species will be best suited to the site, the water table needs to be monitored. To do this, a series of 9 dipwells have been installed across the site, to measure how wet or dry different parts of the site are throughout the year.
