Bantam Lake Watershed Management Plan Data

The Bantam Lake Watershed in a premier recreation destination in Northwest Connecticut. CT DEEP and US EPA is leading an effort to develop a Watershed-based Plan that addresses non-point sources of excess nutrients which impacts the water quality of Bantam Lake. The purpose of this project is to survey the the erosion and other sources of nutrients in the watershed. This data includes taking pictures of the erosion, pinpointing the location (known as georeferencing), commenting on the site, and identifying the property ownership throughout the watershed. The data will help identify sources and solutions that further develop a the management plan for the future.
